Job description – Role typically involves providing legal advice and support to the company on a variety of issues related to its operations. The primary duties of the legal team may include:
1.Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as loan agreements, replying to notices, reply to consumer and criminal complaints.
2. To safe guard companies’ asset, employee and management.
3. NPA/recovery management.
4. Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with the company’s business activities.
5. Representing the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, 138 NI Act matters, arbitration, Sarfaesi and regulatory investigations.
6. Managing relationships with external legal counsel and other legal service providers
7. Participating in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to legal and regulatory compliance.
8. Legal team members should possess excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
They should have a deep understanding of legal principles and procedures, as well as an understanding of the relevant laws and regulations governing the NBFC industry.
